Assignments missed due to an absence will be due within three (3) days of the absence. Assignments not received within three days will receive a grade of zero (0). Excused absences are eligible for 100% credit. Unexcused absences are eligible for 80% credit.
I hold regular office hours on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00-3:45. This time is designated for you. I will be available to answer questions about topics covered in class, and you will have the opportunity to complete missed assignments.
Cheating will not be tolerated. If you are caught cheating, you will be given a zero on the assignment, and your parents will be notified. Do not expect to receive extra credit assignments if you have been caught cheating.
If you make a failing score on an exam, you may retake the exam; however, the highest score possible on a reexamination will be an 84. If you make a passing score on the first exam, you will not be eligible for a retake.
If you leave or enter the classroom for any reason, you must complete the destination log on the clipboard beside the telephone.
You should go to the bathroom between classes or during lunch; however, there are emergencies. For emergencies, you will be allowed five (5) passes for the semester.
Unless an administrator or another teacher requests you, you will have to use one of your five passes to leave the classroom. No exceptions!
